I have a Technics X5D Midi stack audio system with an SLPJ46A CD player. It was bought at John Lewis in 1989 but has been fine since. Recently I have had trouble with the play button on the CD player which does not seem to register and therefore I cannot play CDs. The machine does register a CD and the number of tracks but won`t play. Can you help? I live in Winchester and can bring the CD player in to you. I spoke to someone yesterday and was expecting a call back but no-one called. Can you also quote for a replacement stylus for the turntable SL-J110R. Many thanks.
